Who we are ?
Afrifruit specializes in the production of Berries and is a subsidiary of Palmagri, which is the agricultural division of Palmeraie Industries & Services group. We are specialized in the production and development of the whole range of red fruits, Raspberry, Blueberry, Strawberry and Blackberry in the regions of Agadir in the South of Morocco and Moulay Bousselham in the North.
In September 2019, Afrifruit welcomed to its shareholding Tana Africa Capital (TANA), a pan-African investment holding company jointly owned by the South African Family Office of Mary Oppenheimer and Daughters, and Temasek Holdings of Singapore.

OUR FARMS
Our production covers a total of 200 hectares planted with berries in two regions:
Agadir, Chtouka ait Baha region: 10 estates, 150 Ha of greenhouses, 2250 Tons of berries, from September to April.
Moulay Bousselham: 2 estates, 50 Ha of greenhouses, 750 Tons of berries, from October to June.

Red fruit production
Since 2013, Afrifruit has developed a significant land acreage and has built a solid reputation as one of the most important producers of berries in Morocco. We have implemented a quality and varietals policy that meets the marketing and distribution needs of our customers.
Afrifruit is certified under the Global Gap / GRASP, TN, BRC, & SMETA quality labels. In order to meet the demands of a dynamic market, Afruifruit annually diversifies its varietals range and conducts crop trials to consistently offer its customers the best fruits (health safety, taste, shelf life) and the best service (availability and continuity)

OUR PRODUCTS
Raspberry
Our current export potential is over 2250 T. Our export objective by 2025 is 6500 T. All our varietals are protected.
Blueberry
Our current export potential is over 750 T. Our export objective by 2025 is 1500 T. The varietal profile is a mix of protected and open-source varietals.
Blackberry and Strawberry
Each year we will offer special programs according to the needs of our partners.
OUR QUALITY COMMITMENT
Afrifruit guarantees and respects good agricultural practices, good packaging practices, mastery of the cold chain and the logistics chain, environmental and social standards.
The upstream and downstream traceability of our fruit is ensured by the use of production and quality management tools leveraging the most innovative technologies, integrated ERP, QR code, etc.
We adopt a continuous control system (management control and internal control) which allows us to quickly initiate preventive and corrective actions in the event of any anomaly.
